Blue House Yard is a redevelopment and re-imagining of an empty and underused car park site a few minutes walk from Wood Green station. High Street Works, in partnership with London Borough of Haringey, have transformed the site into a hub for local creatives, entrepreneurs and residents. The redevelopment, that has been running since 2017 creates both private space for rent and a public space for meeting friends, discovering events and interacting with local designer / makers.
Blue House Yard is a friendly, inclusive, multi-disciplinary and experimental collection of workspaces for local people, including retail work sheds and studios. Blue House Yard's vibrant community of creatives, start-ups and social entrepreneurs fill our space with life
All spaces are let on a fair rent policy with prices being set below market value, on flexible terms and with no up front deposits. Combined with a people-focused approach, this creates impacts varying from business growth, job creation, to a new community and cultural events venue. After the meanwhile use period is over the site will be redeveloped by London Borough of Haringey.
